Sj\u00f6sidan Falun is a fantastic destination that attracts visitors all year round \u2013 we are working to make Sj\u00f6sidan Falun a boundary-crossing place for meaningful encounters.<\/p>\n

Sj\u00f6sidan Falun is located on Fr\u00e4mby Udde by Lake Runn, just four kilometers from central Falun. In winter, Runn offers wonderful ice-skating opportunities, while summer is filled with boating, kayaking, swimming, and sunbathing. Here, you\u2019ll find a creative and inspiring environment, perfect for new meetings and new adventures.<\/p>\n

The heart of the area is Villa Herdin, a grand merchant\u2019s villa from the late 19th century. It was built as a summer residence for businessman Oscar Herdin and his wife Olga. The couple hosted many gatherings here, with frequent guests including the renowned artist couple Carl and Karin Larsson.<\/p>\n

At Sj\u00f6sidan Falun, we are creating a unique atmosphere where history meets the present, and people meet each other. Some stay for a few days, combining outdoor activities with work.<\/p>\n

Others come for ice skating and happen to meet people who later become friends and business partners. Some choose to work here and find an inner sense of calm, while others find the love of their life. This is exactly what we envision for Sj\u00f6sidan Falun \u2013 a place like no other, a place that profoundly impacts those who visit.<\/p>\n
